Robert Leechman

Robert is the Chairman of Commercial Advantage.

He graduated from Oxford University and joined Mars where he worked in a number of sales roles before being appointed National Sales Manager.

After moving on to Coca-Cola & Schweppes Beverages in 1988, he then joined The Coca-Cola Company as the Region Sales Manager for their business in the Gulf.

In his career with Coca-Cola, Robert progressed from running the Gulf States, to leading their sponsorship of the Sydney Games in 2000, running their businesses in Central Europe & Russia, and then finally being appointed into the global role of Chief Customer & Commercial Officer.

Robert was attracted to Commercial Advantage because he had seen first-hand the exceptional impact they have had internationally on The Coca-Cola Company and its Bottlers by transforming growth on a number of critical brands and step changing the approach to developing relationships with leading local and international retailers.

He joined the Commercial Advantage Board in early 2010. Robert’s role is to create greater awareness of Commercial Advantage within his senior international network and advise the Commercial Advantage Board on the best possible service offering for our clients.
